Hello mareye

Gilford Road (more usual spelling than Guilford) is in Sandymount, a
suburb to the south of central Dublin, and just off the edge of the
city maps available online.

First I'll point you to a general map of Dublin so you can get an
overall view, and then to a detailed map which will show you Gilford
Road.

This is a handy map of Dublin city centre and some of the outskirts of
the city:
http://www.softguides.com/dublin/maps/centre.html

Click in the bottom right-hand corner and you'll get a close-up of
that area:
http://www.softguides.com/dublin/maps/x58aa60.html

Sandymount Avenue is easy to spot. Over to the right, but off the map,
is Gilford Road.

To see Gilford Road itself, you'll need to go to the Maporama site:
http://www.maporama.com/share/

Choose Ireland, type in "Gilford Road" and "Dublin" and click on "go".
You should see Gilford Road, and you can use the plus and minus
buttons beneath to alter the scale of the map.

To double-check the spelling for you I searched with:
"Guilford Road" Dublin site:.ie
://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22Guilford+Road%22+Dublin+site%3A.ie&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

But I also found the address for the same firm of architects when
searching with:
"62 Gilford Road" Dublin site:.ie
://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%2262+Gilford+Road%22+Dublin+site%3A.ie&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

While searching, I found other maps which might be useful for you.

This map covers quite a large area:

Here you can see Sandymount station on the rapid transit system:
http://www.visitdublin.com/maps/dartmap.asp

A clickable map plus links to other transport maps:

I hope this helps, but please feel free to ask if there's anything
you'd like me to clarify.

Best Wishes - Leli

Some I explained above, and also used:

street map dublin

To check that Gilford is the official spelling, though Guilford is
used quite often:

guilford sandymount
://www.google.co.uk/search?q=guilford++sandymount&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

gilford sandymount
://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=gilford++sandymount&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
