Hi, Are there tools to migrate my mail stored on the client to the same folders in an IMAP account if I switch the account to IMAP? How about rules and filters? Thank you. -Dusty |

Set up two accounts with Outlook or Outlook Express; 1 for the POP3 account and 1 for the IMAP account. Let Outlook download all the messages locally from your POP account, then highlight them all and drag them into the desired IMAP folder. Outlook will upload them to the server automatically. |

Hi Eric, Thanks! If I got you right: 1. Create an IMAP account with any name for example. 2. Move or copy my folders to the new account and outlook will upload them. 3. Delete my first account and then re-create it with the original name in IMAP format. Or: 1. Delete and create the account in IMAP immediately. 2. Configure outlook to look at this account in IMAP format. ... Umm.. need a bit of advice on the scenario. :-) Why don't you post the schole scenario and guidance in the answer as it deserves it? Ahha.. just noticed, you're not a researched. Darn! :-) Lets then do it here in the comments? -Dusty |
