Well I dont know if this is what you are asking for but i can tell you that in the hebrew and the greek words the word love is broke into many different catogories, the word agape is like and unconditonal love the philoe is liek a brotherly love and so forth. this might help in your researh to find your answer, many of todays sayings stint from saying that was translated from the biblical times but if you break down the greek and the hebrew words you will find out that they are very close to what you are looking for i beleive. So as the words was translated from greek and hebrew to what we now call old english. I hope this helps you out some. |
