hibou...

According to this page on the Roxio support site,
"Important Note: There are no updates to make Easy
CD Creator 4 compatible with Windows XP."
http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecdc/software_updatesv4.jhtml

Does that change your question?

Hello Hibout ~

Microsoft does not have a patch for Roxio / Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.

From the Microsoft site:

"Easy CD Creator 4.x and earlier versions are not supported in Windows
XP. Consult Roxio for instructions on how to remove the older program
from your computer and upgrade to a version supported by Windows XP."

and from the Roxio site:

"Important Note: There are no updates to make Easy CD Creator 4
compatible with Windows XP.

Click here to upgrade to the latest version of Easy CD & DVD Creator."

You will have to update your Easty CD Creator to a later version in
order to run it under Windows XP

I have tried Roxios 2 page solution to dumping Easy CD Creator 4 with
the help of DELL technicians. Roxios solution does not work and I
cannot contact Roxio to let them know. The process required the
deletion of # 5 first. I went ahead and bought # 6 but find I do not
have enough power for one aspect of it. And as usual there is no way
to contact Roxio to ask if the remainder of # 6 will work on the 1 Gig
power on my Pentium 111. (Real time movies require 1.6 Gig, not that
I would use it) I suppose the only answer is to put # 5 back on my PC
and just live with the pop up baloon that tells me the horrible truth
about # 4!
