Hi, I recently started a small business (import/export) and would like someone to recommend a good software to keep track of expenses, clients, tax credits, etc... Don't need to worry about payroll because I'm the only employee! Something that would let me keep track of customer orders, profit/loss, GST credits, etc... would be helpful. Thanks. |

Dear xcvbnm, You could you use the Canadian version of QuickBooks http://www.intuit.com/canada/quickbooks/ I came across something less expensive, and with ambitious claims about being able to process information to comply with several countries' data - and has a free download so you can try it before you buy it. The lite version might work for you, initially. http://www.acclaimsoftware.com/bookkeeping_software.htm Recently, doing a search for a client, I came across this for him, by Owl Software. Really low prices, and it looks like just the thing for you. http://www.owlsoftware.com/pricelis.htm I found it on Google Canada - www.google.ca doing the following search: bookkeeping,GST,software Best wishes, Your TaxMama-ga |

Quicken is just the job for your accounting needs. Dunno about tracking orders. |
