How do you convert the calculated value of a formula into that actual value? That is, if I have a cell that contains a formula that says "+a1+1" how do i get excel to change the contents of that cell from the formula to the result of the formula? | |

Did you type "a1+1" or "=a1+1"? You must have the = sign before all forumals otherwise Excel just thinks your typing some word and not a formula you want it to calculate. |
