Hi,

My client has a Motorola Vanguard 6425 Router. I am a Cisco only guy
unfortunatly. But poking around in the router I was able to find some
items I would like to change and I would like a step-by-step in the
Menu (Preferred) or the CLI on
how to go about making the changes so I wouldn't screw this up more
than it is.

First a litte backround.
*The card is in physical port 10 (top middle slot.
*Looking at the configs I noticed that in Configure ->T1/E1--> Entry 2
is used
*IP Subnet is 255.0.0.0
*IP is 1.134.0.253-[]-.1------3.136.0.X-------.2[]-2.135.0.1
*Remote site is 2.135.0.X
*Hi-Cap T1 is the media between both sites

Here are the changes I want to make seamlessly:
*Turn off RIP routing
*Turn off bridging completely (IPX is bridged at the moment)
*Change Remote site to get clocking from main branch. (Both are set to
clock to itself).
*Change X.25 encacapsulation to PPP w/Chap authentication
*Turn off debugging on remote router (looks like RIP events is on)
*Last but not least I would like to check to see if the remote site
has a default gateway to main's wan interface and main has a route to
2.X.X.X using remote's wan interface.
