I have an old (80yrs) porcelan tub that had some paint brushes laid in it.. now there's some colors in the bottom of the tub that I can't seem to erase. I tried bleach and Oxy with no luck ...what can I do to get the color up from insdie the porcelean? thanks, Eric |

Eric, If the finish has worn off the tub and the paint is embedded in the clay, it may be very difficult to remove. The first things to try would be paint remover or stripper. Here's a suggestion from Pat Strong: "A paste of paint stripper shouldn't hurt porcelain. Try that. Let it sit under plastic wrap so it really saturates overnight."
