I could easily have posted this in the Computer/Security section, but
this section seems a little more appropriate.

I need server-side software that will let me control file downloads
and passwording, and has good logging features and reports. The
purpose is for distributing software or e-books to employees on a
network, and tracking who downloaded what and how many of which files
were downloaded and when. Sort of like a shopping cart, but w/o asking
for billing & shipping info.

The application MUST run on a Windows-based Web server (NT/2000/2003).
There is an application I like called Password Administrator+ (look at
www.illmatic.net), but it only runs on Unix & Linux. I want something
like this that runs on Windows.

Additional preferences are:
* Easy configuration and installation.
* Has a customizable registration form, so I can decide what
information to ask for when a user registers.
* Can integrate with a shopping cart, or can completely avoid a
shopping cart.
* Has digital rights management (DRM) features, such as restricting a
PDF to a single machine. I like FileOpen Personal Publisher
(www.fileopen.com), but it's a standalone product. This isn't a
requirement, but it would be a HUGE plus.
