Hi there moeppel-ga:

Since Vietnamese is my first language, I think I'm able to translate
the word for you. However, since Google Answers does not allow
Unicode characters, I can not directly type out the word for you.
Without diacritical marks, the word is "Thuy si." To see the correct
format, follow these directions:
1) Go to http://www.saigon.com/~vietdict/index.html
2) For the word field, type in "Swiss", for database, choose
"Anh-Viet" (English-Vietnamese), for output format, choose "UTF-8".
Click "Submit"
3) You should see on the right frame the definition of "Swiss" in
Vietnamese. Since it is necessary to use the word for "Switzerland"
in the definition for "Swiss", you should see the word "Thuy si" in
the definition. If your browser is configured correctly, you should
see a dot under the letter "u" and a tilde (~) above the letter "i".

I think that this answers your question. If you experience any
technical difficulties or if the site is unavailable, please use the
request for clarification feature to notify me before rating this
answer.

Thanks,

Research strategy:
I used my knowledge in Vietnamese, but searched for
"Vietnamese-English" dictionary to verify my answer.
As kyoki_no_kami pointed out, dictoraries don't usually define proper
nouns, but they do define adjectives.

Hi again moeppel-ga,
Please note that the letter "s" in "Thuy si" can either be capitalized
or in lowercase, just be consistent with your usage.

I think it's possibly "Thụy sĩ", but I'm not 100% sure. It
seems that most English-Vietnamese online dictionaries don't include
country names.

Howdy moeppel,

French is used in parts of Viet Nam and thusly, as in the example of
the
Vietnamese website given below, you might be able to use the French
word
for Switzerland as well. French for Switzerland is Suisse. The
following
web page is in Vietnamese.

Looking Forward, denco-ga

Hi denco-ga,
French, once widely spoken as a second language by the elite in
colonial Vietnam, is rarely used today. You'd have more luck being
understood if you use the English word than with French. The webpage
you refer to was talking about a "Comptoire de Suisse" exhibition, an
exhibition of (Swiss) fabric, thus they were merely using the proper
name of the exhibition.
