I live about seven blocks from the ocean and am planning on using it
as my "second office". I am trying to find a lightweight chair that I
can carry with me when I walk down to the beach. Ideally, the chair
is easy to carry. It is also is comfortable so that I could sit in it
and work on a laptop or read for at least a couple of hours at a time.
Finally, it should be fairly inexpensive. Say, less than $50. A
chair that is either available online or from a store in the Los
Angeles area would be fine. Thanks!

Greetings Jpbischke:

Oooh, how I envy you your second office location! :) Since comfort
is relative to the sitter, I have found a few choices for you to
consider that appear very comfortable to me.

I tell you, that 3-in-1 Kelsyus with the canopy option might be just
the ticket. In total, it slightly exceeds your preferred budget but
having a chair, canopy and cooler at the beach office would be
wonderful options plus that backpack in which to transport office
supplies and other materials.

Should you require any clarification of the links or information I
have provided, please request it before rating and closing this
question and I'll be happy to respond.

Truly awesome answer and quick! I order the 3-in-1 chair with the
canopy as per your recommendation. The canopy will work great for
shielding the sun so I can work on my laptop. Anyway, thanks!!!
