How much are customers willing to pay as a processing fee in order to book a vacation (for example a package deal to Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain, British Columbia)? Clients call in from our website in order to speak to a travel agent who can book hotel, airfare, transfers, car rental, activities, and tours (packages can range from $500-$15000 depending on length of stay, quality of hotel, etc.). We would like to know whether the processing fee should a flat rate or a percentage of the total package booked? |

Greetings Jackd2: The travel agency I recently used for a $250 RT airline ticket charges a flat fee of $30 for each booking. As a consumer, I prefer a flat fee charge. Best regards, journalist-ga |

PS Regarding the various prices of trips, you might consider a flat-rate scale such as: $00 to $5000 - XX fee $5001 to $10,000 - XX fee $10,000+ - XX fee Best regards, journalist-ga |
