Hello,

I am currently investigating the beer market in the US. There are
quite a few sources of statistics around, but I haven't been able to
find one particular piece of data: Sales of Mexican beers by STATE in
the US.

I don't really care if the figures are for one month or one year, as
long as they're for 2001 or later. I also don't care if they are
total, or by brand, or by company, or any other breakdown. I just need
a list of states, and the sales of mexican beer in each state,
preferably in a volume unit (barrels, cases, not $).

Thanks!

Hello jeanvaljean25-ga,

I was not able to locate Mexican beer consumption by State. However, I
did find a table that provides Imported Beer Consumption by State for
the year 2002.

Would this be of your interest?

Thanks,
Bobbie7

I located a Case Study for Corona beer published in November 2001.

Description:
“In early June 1997, the CEO and vice chairman of Grupo Modelo were
reviewing the performance of Corona beer in the U.S. market. Despite a
much higher sales volume growth rate, Corona still trailed Heineken,
the #1 imported beer brand in the U.S. market. Could Corona overtake
Heineken and, if so, what marketing strategy changes needed to be
made? Includes color exhibits.”

Subjects Covered:
Beverages, Brands, Corporate strategy, Food processing industry,
Marketing strategy, Product management

Length: 24 pages
Price: $12

Would this case study be useful for you?

Thanks,

Bobbie7

bobbie-7ga,

I already have the table for sales of imports by state, as well as the
Corona case. That's as far as I got... Someone once told me that it is
close to impossible to find that information, and I think they may be
right... this is the first time that I set out to look for something
on the internet without finding it... oh well.

I'll leave the question open for a day or two, just in case someone
finds this, and then I think I'll just close it.

Thanks a lot for your efforts.
