Please name one web based, primarily Australian news service,
including International news, from independent correspondents,
journalists, analysts, commentators (independent from “Big Boys”)

Selection should be based on independent integrity, quality and range
of information.

Subscription ok in return for viewing promotional material. (My
philosophy is that any business independent from the almighty dollar
altogether is not living in my world)

Ahem, Google has a news service and it is certainly a web based
company.

Google launches regional news service

Google announced on Monday, May 12, that as part of a move to upgrade
its Internet news aggregation services, it launched five new
country-specific versions of Google News. The Mountain View, Calif.
based search engine company unveiled five new country-specific global
news service sites that are based on its main Google News offering.
These local versions of Google News have been launched in Australia,
New Zealand, UK, India and Canada. This will allow Google to serve
more of a global audience.

global collective.

Interested to hear how I can search newswervices with the Google link,
and I have added the Melbourne indymedia site to my favourites.
