Who is the most successful American high-school football coach,
hopefully over 10 years or more, that has a story or book that
describes how he became a football success and specifically what he
did or does for player preparation, game preparation, and school and
business relationships to help the kids?

Here's a link to a book by another promising candidate.  It's not
clear from the description of this book to what extent Wood is known
for the positive off-the-field influence that you are looking for, but
it is clear from my research that he is a bona fide towering figure
among past and present high school football coaches.
