Question ID: 262739
I'm looking to purchase a CD that contains a certain song by a female
(pretty sure it's a female). It played on the radio all the time (at
least on the main dance stations in Baltimore) back in 1997-1998. 9
times out of 10 I can find the song if do a search in google like
"lyrics 'she'll see i'm not so tough just because i'm in love with an
uptown girl'" would produce Uptown Girl by Billy Joel on hundreds of
sites. However, this song eludes me. These are all definite parts of
the lyrics (in no particular order - i.e. this is not one full segment
or anything) - it's an awesome, fast, uplifting song:

*Lift* me up, now baby hold me down, I'm gonna get to you.

move any mountain, cross any sea to ...

I know you wanna get to me too...

I'll see your face before me...

Keep me on the right track...

* = not entirely sure of this word.

(I'd have bet that the title of the song was "I'm gonna get to you",
but searches on google & amazon, etc. proved unfruitful. Perhaps I'm
missing something.)

So my question is who is the singer, what is the name of the song, and
where can I buy it (i.e. on which album(s)) is it available?
Thank-you very much!

Amazing. This was my first question of 2, and if they all go like
this, I'm going to use this all the time. Thanks jackburton!
