I'd like a bedroom set {including a KING bed, 2 nightstands, a
dresser, and a mirror} that comes with a cool low platform bed or
comes with a contemporary bedwall behind it (examples follow). I'm
happy with either an online place that will deliver to Kissimmee, FL
34746 or a store close by to that area that has it and can deliver it.

I've found quite a few, but they are either are way out of my league
or they don't deliver to my area. I'm SURE I can find something that
delivers here.

The following are the really expensive versions (i.e. $4,000+, etc.)
like:

http://www.contemporaryfurniture.com/Catalog/Products/product_00002084_20.asp

(I really like that second one because it has that platform border
around the bed as well.)

Lights under the bed are cool/fine as well.

The above style would be cool too, except it's a loft mattress (and
doesn't come with a matching set), and I want a regular king
pillow-top mattress (I can find that on my own :). Ideally, it
wouldn't use a boxspring, obviously, since that raises the whole
height of a platform bed. In addition, the more expensive (and
therefore better) versions have a nice solid wooden bottom for the
mattress to sit on and not some cheap metal frame).

So, this begs the question - is anything available in my price range?
Yes - something like this on furniture.com was only $1,499 for the set
(perfect): (except can't get this because furniture.com doesn't
deliver to Kissimmee, FL 34746 yet)

So, there it is - sorry for the long question - but anything in the
$1,300-$1,600 range for a king size bedroom set that is contemporary
and cool looking - if I have to sacrifice some quality, that's fine -
it just needs to look cool. Thank-you!

I apologize - I can see how this could become too subjective and
therefore become difficult for a 3rd party to do - I guess I can make
it more objective and discretize it somewhat - if you notice in the
examples I gave, they're all futuristic - and anything that's 'way out
there' or futuristic - I love - and I would buy if it was available
and was in these price ranges that we've been finding. So question:
are there are any futuristic (non-simple) king bedroom sets under
$2,000 available for delivery to my area? (Please tell me if this
helps; otherwise, I'm happy to make it more deterministic. Also, I
had seen living-quarters; good find actually (never found it on my
own, a friend had to find it for me), but I told her same thing - too
simple - not like my examples.)

They have some nice-looking platform beds at FurnitureEsuperstore. Here's one:

According to the site, they ship for free!

The free shipping would definitely be great, but a couple things with
that website:

(1) I don't think this one is offered in King.
(2) It's not real interesting looking - just kinda there, you know?
(3) It's definitely inexpensive, but I don't need to go *that*
low-end. I mean, I'd even spend $2,000 if I saw something awesome.
So, like another bed on that website, $240 for a king bed is in a way
different league. :)

I still can't believe how quickly I get responses on this thing!
Amazing...

"Cool" is, of course, in the eye of the beholder, but I like the look
of these bedrooms:
