function in   the market for built space? What would be the typical
causes of a downward  sloping function?
2.What are the three major factors influencing property prices or cap
rates in the real estate asset market? How(in which direction) does
each of these influence the rate?
3.Which market is more segmented-the asset market or the space market?
Explain.
4.Discuss the concept of a natural vacancy rate and in doing so,relate
it to changes in real rents.
5.Suppose that a market has a 1 million SF of vacant space, 2 million
SF of space under construction, and annual absorption of 1.5million
SF. What is the monthhs supply in this market? If the average project
takes two years to complete, would you say this market is oversupplied
or undersupplied-explain.

benefits that the pension fund would gain by taking a position in
reaql estate.
