Hi,

I'm looking for information on funding and scholarships for Canadian
Citizens who wish to do a Masters degree in the UK starting in the
fall of 2004. There are two of us. We're specifically looking at
Cambridge, Edinburgh, Imperial College, or London School of Economics
but we know there are scholarships that exist which are independent of
university. Field-wise, one of us is in Computer Science and the
other in Political Science/Anthropology. We have bachelor degrees in
our respective fields.

We know about the big scholarships like the Gates Scholarship and the
Commonwealth scholarship but more details about other general and
field-specific scholarships would greatly help.

Ideally for each scholarship/funding source you would give us info on
the name, the website (if it exists), when it's due and a few details.
Here's an example for the Commonwealth:

Commonwealth Scholarship
http://www.scholarships-bourses-ca.org/pages/CWout/cwCanOt1-en.html
Due: Postmarked October 24, 2003
Details: highly competitive, less than 5% of applicants get in to the
UK. Once selected the committee decides which university in the UK
best fits your needs (although you specify on your application the
universities you are considering).

Thanks!
omar
