Hello again Mns7bays ~

special information about Google's closely-guarded search engine
algorithms.

Google's Search Technology
============================
To understand how to design a search engine friendly site, it helps to
understand that the search engines want to deliver relevant content to
the search query. You can read Google's explanation, including the
extent of the information it will give about its algorithms here:

Notice the information about PageRank and the importance of links TO
your site in order to be included in Google's index:
"PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of
the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator
of an individual page's value. In essence, Google inter-
prets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A,
for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer
volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also
analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by
pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily
and help to make other pages "important."
Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank,
which Google remembers each time it conducts a search.
Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they
don't match your query. So, Google combines PageRank
with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find
pages that are both important and relevant to your
search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a
term appears on a page and examines all aspects of the
page's content (and the content of the pages linking
to it) to determine if it's a good match for your query."

Notice the two important items mentioned by Google "links to your
site" and "content".
Links are also addressed in Google's Webmaster Information "Getting
Listed":
"The best way to ensure Google finds your site is for
your page to be linked from lots of pages on other
sites. Google's robots jump from page to page on the
Web via hyperlinks, so the more sites that link to you,
the more likely it is that we'll find you quickly."

A check using Google's link: tool shows no links TO your site. (That
is, typing link: www.7bays.net/ in Google's search bar.
A check with the search engines I mentioned in my answer to your
Question #263191 shows that you are not listed in any of those search
engines.

===================
Content
===================
Another reason you may not be listed is basically that basically there
is no 'content' TO index.
Besides links, you need rich text content. The only content on your
first page is:
"Gateway to Gorgeous Lake Roosevelt"
and
"Site maintained by a Vietnam Veteran"
and
"updated 9-11-03"
Also:
"Current Weather"
and
"Current Lake Level"
That isn't the kind of content that Google would index, since it
really isn't any content. It is unlikely then that even if you had
enough links TO your page it would be included in the index.

What the Experts Say
=========================
The leading experts on search engines, search engine optimization and
search-engine friendly web design, such as:
* Danny Sullivan, Search Engine Watch
- http://www.searchenginewatch.com
* Detlev Johnson, Search Engine Guide
- http://www.searchengineguide.com
* Shari Thurow, WebProNews & Search Engine Guide
- http://www.webpronews.com/
* Jill Whalen, High Rankings Advisor
- http://www.highrankings.com/
all say the same thing ...
Content, content, content! Without rich content - actual text - using
those words and/or terms under which you want to be found, others
whose sites may not be as good as yours will end up with better search
engine results placement (SERPS).
Search engines search and index text. A lot of times people forget
that, but if there's no text there to index, the chances your site
doesn't exist, at least so far as search engines are concerned.

What Google Says
===================
Here are some important links from Google's Webmaster Information and
Webmaster Guidelines. Although I've covered linking and content, you
should be familiar with the recommendations contained in these pages.
Webmasters who follow the guidelines and avoid Google's "Thou shalt
nots" usually have no problem getting listed.

Changing the site to include text content which can be indexed and
establishing relevant links TO your site will help.
Then you may want to submit the sites, manually, to those search
engines and directories I listed in my other answer to you. Following
those steps will increase your chances of being listed in Google's
search engine.
Good luck,
