I'm trying to find a song called "Romance for Violin and Orchestra in D Minor". I heard it on PBS - and I believe it was composed by a Wilhelm Gerdhard or a name similar to that. It was absolutely beautiful and I'm dying to know more details. I've searched online with the details I just typed in - and haven't found anything yet. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! | |

Hello musiicman-ga, Given your most recent clarification, I will post what I have found as an answer. After searching on Google for variations on "Romance for Violin and Orchestra in D Minor" and "Romanzen für Violine und Orchester in D-moll", the only piece that I found with a name like "Wilhelm" associated with it is: "Peterson-Berger: Symphony no 2, etc /Jurowski, Norrkoping SO" Tower Records http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=1513412 I did not find any such piece with a name like "Gerdhard" associated with it. - justaskscott-ga |
