The first piece of music in the trailer for "Matchstick Men" is a
piano instrumental. This was written by Thomas Newman, and initially
appeared in the 2000 film "Erin Brockovich." A remix of this tune
appears on the soundtrack CD under the title "On the Plume." You can
listen to "On the Plume" here:

The second piece is "Ruben's In," from the soundtrack of the 2001 film
"Ocean's 11." It was written by David Holmes. You can listen to
"Ruben's In" here (there is dialogue from the film on top of the
music, but you can hear the tune quite well):

The third song is "For the Love of Money," by the O'Jays. It was
written by Anthony Jackson, Leon Huff, and Kenneth Gamble.

The closing music is "Days and Nights in Kyoto/The Party (Pt. 2),"
from the soundtrack of the 1985 film "Brazil." It was written by
Michael Kamen. I have not found it online, but you can purchase the
soundtrack album here:

Some source material:
"I still haven't been able to figure out what the first of four songs
in the Matchstick Men trailer are. The second song is 'Ruben's In'
from Oceans 11 Soundtrack, the third is the O'Jays song that dannyboy
named, and the fourth is 'Days and Nights in Kyoto/The Party (Pt. 2)'
from the Brazil soundtrack. Anybody know the first?"
