The highest point of the Andes Mountains is the top of the Monte Aconcagua, in Argentina, which is 6959 mts over sea level. The Puna region is a tableland that is 4000 mts over sea level, in this region there are the highest peaks of Andes Mountains (except the Aconcagua). |
