Dear Researcher,

I thought I had found the perfect Hosting Reseller:
http://www.dot5hosting.com/linux_reseller.php

I thought I'd browse the site a little bit, and noticed there
forums...
http://forums.dot5hosting.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2

Many unhappy customers.

Can you find a hosting company offering this many features, with
little or no setup fee, for a similiar price?

Hello, willstein:
Are you specifically looking for a hosting reseller or for a cheap
and reliable hosting you can resell? I suggest you to take a look to

PHPWebHosting
http://www.phpwebhosting.com

Very cheap prices and a really nice service, I host with them over 2
years and I'm more than happy.

Regards.

Dear joseleon,

I am looking for a hosting "reseller".
Does PHPwebhosting.com offer reseller packages?

A hosting reseller is where you pay for a larger amount of webspace,
and you distribute that to customer's.

Hello, willstein:
  I know what a reseller is, that's why I requested for a
clarification, because the phpwebhosting prices are so low that you
can resell them to get a profit. In any case, I was just asking to see
if I could help.. ;-)

Regards.

I would recommend going solo, get two dedicated servers, start your
'name based' rather than 'IP based' hosting company :)

Make one server as your webserver, the other your mail server, and
thats it.

Should cost you less than 300$ a month, for 60 GB of space in each
machine and 900 GB of traffic for each machine.

Invest a little over 50$ on each machine, and you would get a control
panel, which would automate your jobs :)

Even if you don't make money for 1st six months.. you are sure to get
a brand thingy going.. and I am sure you would be able to get break
even with 10 - 20 clients, from thereon all money would come straight
in your pocket :)

That might be a good idea.

But how would I get the propper bandwidth to support my customer's?

900 GB bandwidth per month.. per machine.. do you think that is not good enough.. ?

Right, that is good enough, but how will I get that?
Through my normal Cable provider?
Or will I need to get a better ISP
