I am looking for the latest stats from the book publishing industry.
I am especially interested in the number of books now published each
year in the US, the number of publishers publishing and the number of
categories used by publishers to distinguish their publications.
Evidence of profusion and fragmentation especially welcome. This is
for an academic work so I would be grateful for sources have research
foundation (as opposed to guess work). Thanks, Grant
