Dear bb3,

The village of Eybach is located in the modern German Bundesland
(state) of Baden-Württemberg, in the south-west of Germany.

Since 1973, the formerly self-contained village of Eybach is part of
the town of Geislingen an der Steige.

The small town of Geislingen itself is located 50 kilometers (31
miles) south-east of the major city of Stuttgart (home of the
Mercedes-Benz factories).

Since Eybach belongs to the town of Geislingen, you may find contact
information for the local municipal administration useful, just in
case you want to do additional research for your ancestral roots:

Geislingen an der Steige
Rathaus
Hauptstrasse 1
73312 Geislingen an der Steige
GERMANY

Phone: +49(0)7331-24-0
Fax: +49(0)7331-24-202
E-mail: info@geislingen.de
Website: http://www.geislingen.de/

To get an impression of the geographical location of
Geislingen-Eybach, please have a look at this map of Germany, where
the nearby city of Stuttgart is marked with a red dot in the
south-western region:
