Hi Sulafa,
Some of the websites you visit won't let you in or won't let you post
if you don't have a "cookie" from them. Have you "logged in" to these
forums? You may want to try logging OUT and then logging IN again. If
you're still experiencing the problem, then try the following:
1. Log out of the forum (by clicking on the log out link)
2. Go to the Safari menu and choose preferences from the drop down
menu
3. and then when you have the preference window open go and click the
"Security" icon.
4. Make sure the setting is on "Always" (to accept and remember all
cookies), OR "Only from sites you navigate to" (to stop all cookies
from other sites)
5. Click the "Show Cookies" button and delete any cookies that you
recognise from the forum.
(just hi-light it and press the delete button)
6. Then try loggin back into the forum, entering your username &
password.

Let me know if that works for you.

Hello Sulafa,

Which "forums" are you having problems with? Based on that
information, it may be possible to review the interaction to see if
the problem can be fixed or worked around.

I contacted the forums webmaster and he told me that the site was
"never" intended for macs and thats why i am having problems. The
thing is that i go to that forum a lot and i thought all fourms are
teh same but i tested diffrent forums and it works fine.

I'm a Mac user. Unfortunately, I can't give you a precise answer,
because I don't have a Safari-equipped Mac. I'll be shopping for new
Mac next year, and am looking forward to trying Safari.

But I've read that Safari can be made to resemble other browsers. Look
under Safari preferences, and you should find something to toggle
that'll let Safari masquerade as other browsers. Maybe one of these
secret identities will work for you.

Another thing you might try is subscribing to some of the Mac-related
newsgroups. These groups are free to participate in. There are
stand-alone newsgroup readers, plus any browser can do the trick. I
might suggest news:comp.sys.mac.apps as a good starting point. It's
been a while since I've visited the Mac-related groups. Maybe there's
a Safari-specific one now.

G'luck.
