Hi clamer,

I attempted to answer this last night, but did not come up with
anything that lands ON the Salar de Uyuni. (I speak Spanish fluently
and searched Spanish language sites as well). I can't confirm this,
but it appears to me that planes do not fly into the salt flats, but
to Potosi or Sucre. From there you take a jeep or train. The code for
the Potosi airport is POI, which may help you out some!

This site had an interesting tour, which may, if you can't charter a
plane, fill the bill!

The travel bug tried to bite me while doing this search however ---
Potosi- Salar de Uyuni looks like a marvelous trip!. I've never been
to Bolivia, but traveled quite a bit in Venezuela!
