I am looking for an article about Patricia Arquette and her home in
Big Sur. It was published in a magazine sometime in the summer of
2003 (Sometime between May and August, although most likely June or
July). I'm thinking it was in Real Simple or Oprah or InStyle, but
may be wrong. All I want to know is the name of the magazine and the
month of the article. Finding this is driving me nuts! Thanks!!

Hi darkstar31904,

I found 2 references -

One was IN TOUCH WEEKLY (similar to US magazine... famous people), and
the other was in JANE.

Please let me know if I'm on the right track, and if so I'll be happy
to post my findings.

Best regards,
tlspiegel

Darkstar --

The article that you're seeking is probably in the August, 2003 issue
of InStyle. Titled "Cabin Fever," it's written by Degen Pener and
describes Arquette's A-frame along the California coast. (She paid
for the house with the proceeds from a Polaroid ad done for the Super
Bowl 16 years ago.

Google search strategy:
For this I used the Proquest Magazine database, a fee-based online
database of newspapers and magazines that's available for free at many
public libraries. Strangely, the 2003 articles on Arquette don't come
up for magazines (only newspapers) -- but I did a search for her in
InStyle and rapidly found the article.

Best regards,
