Hi ek1,

Is this what you are looking for? This is the only reference to age
ranges for Special Education that I could find.

2003 - 2004 Data Dictionary:
http://kidss.nekesc.k12.ks.us/forms/datadiction.pdf

Grade/Age Range
PR  = Age 3- 6  /  P 3-6 = Age 3- 6 / Kindergarten = Age 5- 7
Grade 1 = Age 5- 8 Grade 2 = Age 6- 9
Grade 3 = Age 6-10 Grade 4 = Age 7-11
Grade 5 = Age 8-12 Grade 6 = Age n/a
Grade 7 = Age 10-14 Grade 8 = Age 11-15
Grade 9 = Age 12-16 Grade 10 = Age 13-17
Grade 11 =Age 14-18

Maximum Age reached –
Only if a student reaches age 21 or 22 in the current school.

Thanks,
hummer

What I want is the age range of students sitting in a special
education classroom in Missouri. I found there can't be more than a 4
years difference in age in Illinois, but I can't find the range for
Missouri. What you sent me was how old you have to be for a particular
grade.

Hi ek1,

Thank you for the clarification. I'm sorry, but I'm still not sure
that I understand. Looking at the chart I sent, grades one and two
have a difference in age of three years, the rest are four years.
Could you please send the link you found for Illinois? That way we
could see exactly what kind of data you are looking for.

Thank you,
hummer

Hi ek1,

I'm sorry, I'm just not having any luck other than what I already
found. How about this - for a $15 donation to MO-FEAT/The SEA. , you
will receive the CD "Special Education in Missouri - 2002". You can
read about it and download a sample here:
