Where can I find a census or information with Max E Chase with parents
Frank E Chase and Nell (ie) Evelyn (Stormer) Chase.  I have been told
Max if that is his real Birth name was supposedly born in Atlantic, IA
Jan 23-25, 1915. He Had  Brothers named Glen, Oscar, Earl and Homer?
(these two boys/babies?) died in 1918 of Diptheria.  Also a half
sister Mary after Nell married 2nd Husband Floyd Stone.  I have not
been able to find Max with both natural Parents. I believe it could be
Cass Co, or Adair Co. or Audubon counties in IA. His Father was born
in Brayton, IA  Max E Stone( really a Chase) took on his Step Father-
Floyd Stone's last name, he was not adopted by Floyd one census
suggests he was a step son.  When Max went into the Army/Airforce he
signed up as Max E Stone.He was a Sergent.  Max died in the
Phillipines in April 11, 1971.  I can not find any Birth records on
him probably because of name changes.  When Max went to get money
entitled to him from the Military his Birth certificate Name and his
aquired Surname Stone did not match so he got nothing.  He owned a Bar
in the Phillipines.  He was in the Military in the 1940's. He was in
France approx 1945.  First Marriage to Laura Bernice Bybee. Married
where we don't know but approx. Jan 1939. One Daughter Ella Louise
Stone b. 1940 Atlantic,Cass, IA, 2nd Daughter Gloria Jean Stone b.
1941 Galesburg, Ill. 3rd Daughter Linda b.?Ill 1942-1944- Max and
Laura Divorced in 1943-1944.

What amount are we looking at or maybe I didn't give enough information.

I think I found Floyd, Nell and Mary on the 1930 census. Floyd is age
38; Nellie is 39 and Mary was born in 1929. They live in Washington,
Cass, Iowa. NARA Roll #T626_646 Page 5B, Enumeration Dist. 27. There
are no Chases indexed in Washington, Cass, Iowa. This information is
from an index -- looking at the actual film might provide more
information. (Maybe the indexers overlooked other members of the
household, including Max.)

I looked around in the 1920 and 1930 indexes for Max, Nell and Frank
Chase and didn't come up with any likely hits. Just in case you don't
know, the 1930 census is the latest one available to the public.

I hope this information helps at least a little bit. I think the
clarification above  was referring to the amount of money offered for
an answer to your question, by the way.
