I want to play a joke on someone and i was wounding of a good site,
service witch will let me send sms to my friends phone for free or a
very small charge.

Yahoo provides such a service for the U.S., although you do have to
register:

Microsoft also has free software that allows you to send messages
directly to GSM phones (which excludes many U.S. phones).

Also, if you know your friend's cell phone company, you can usually go
to the web site of the company and send a message there.

Search strategy: I knew about and have used the Yahoo service. The
others I found using the  Google search term of "send sms computer"
without the quotes.
