OK, I have a laptop with a sony CRX820E CDRW/DVD combo drive. The
current opperating system on it is Slackware 9 and Windows XP Pro. The
drive works just fine in slack but when i try to use it in windows it
will say "D:\ is not a valid win32 application." i have tryed
reinstalling windows xp and i even tryed 98se and it would just crash.
i tryed to contact sony but since it is an OEM produt they wont help
me at all and the company i bought it from is trying to ignore me. i
believe this may just be a driver issue but i cannot find the driver
anywhere on the web. i can burn cd's from it also in windows, it just
wont read the cd. im so confused! please help me. thanks.
