Hi Jack,
Thank you very much for the information. I looked briefly at the
iProtectYou site and didn't see anything titled RESTRICT internet use
(* Set a schedule to specify days and times when on-line activity is
allowed). What subtitle is it under?

Thank you.

Hi kathy,
If you go to: http://www.softforyou.com/ip-free.html , in the
"Overview of iProtectYou Free Features", you should see...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Restrict your family members from visiting Web Sites and News Groups
that may contain pernicious information.
(the 1st one in the list)
* Control the list of applications that can have access to the
Internet.
(3rd one down in the list)
* Set a schedule to specify days and times when on-line activity is
allowed.
(4th one down in the list)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not quite sure how you came across the 50% discount on hotel
reservations (you may have clicked on the "affiliates" link perhaps?).

Here is the link to the .PDF file - "Parents guideline Safety tips for
protecting kids online":

Here is the link to the "iProtectYou Free" manual:
http://www.softforyou.com/ip-manual.html

Here is the page from the manual explaining about Internet filtering:

I hope i clarified this for you. If anything is still unclear, please
let me know.

This should be a great help in restricting the amount of hours our
teenager spends on the internet.

Thank you very much.

Hi kathy39, I have downloaded and used with great sucess We-blocker,
for my grandaughter's computer, found at

http://www.we-blocker.com/

You have great control, via an admin password, over who sees what.I am
not at the location of the computer with this program on it(so I can't
check right now), but I am prety sure you can set the time the
internet is available, as well as filters for obscenity, violence, and
even drug related information. I am very impressed with the software.
It updates daily, if you allow it. The company asks for a donation, if
you are pleased with it, and I think you will be.
