Are you interested in any particular psychological disorder?
Obviously, the response to being told one has schizophrenia would be
different than being told one has seasonal affective disorder.
Although some other Researcher might be able to, I haven't found any
sites that discuss your question in general, but I did find a few that
talked about specific disorders. Thanks!

I am more interested with the disorders that are not as major as say,
schizophrenia and have less of an organic nature. for example,
Attention deficit disorder.

i hope that's more helpful.
