I need recent statistics for the dollar amount Americans spend on
beverages both in restaurants and at home.

Request for Question Clarification by bobbie7-ga on 13 Oct 2003 11:26 PDT
tagink-ga,

I have found the dollar amount of retail sales of all beverages in the
U.S. for the years:

1996
1998
2001
2002 (projected)

I also have the dollar amount for retail sales of beverages for the
above years in the following categories:

Beer
Carbonated soft drinks
Spirits
Fruit beverages
Wine
Bottled water
Sports drinks
RTD Tea

It appears that dollar sales of beverages in restaurants and at home
are not freely available.

Would the information that I mentioned be of your interest?

Thanks,
Bobbie7

We need beverage consumption and buying statistics for both retail
(stores, mini marts, etc.) and resturants. It sounds like that is not
available? Please advise if retail sales also includes resturants.
