You asked me to provide clarification -- is this how I do it?  If not, how do I?

Go back to the question you are referring to (where the clarification
was requested) and follow these instructions:

In the uppermost blue banner just above your question, where is says
QUESTION on the left and has a gray button on the right, click the
button on the right that says CLARIFICATION. A new text window will
open. Here you will be able to type in your clarification. When you
have finished, simply click the gray button just BELOW the text window
that says POST REQUEST. Your clarification should now be posted to the
forum.
