Howdy jimmycrackcorn,

There are several ways you can check what version of MSXML
(Microsoft Extensible Markup Language) you are running, but here
is the easiest.

According to this BIGLIST SXL mailing list message, you should go
to your C:\WINNT\system32 directory and scroll down until you find
the file(s) named "msxml?.dll" where the "?" will be a number, most
probably a 3, but possibly a 4. There might be several files that
start with msxml, such as msxml3.dll, etc.

The highest numbered version is the one you are running. You can
then "right click" on that file, click on Properties, then click
on the Version tab to get detailed information on that file.

"Go to System32 and find msxml3.dll ...
Get the version number by right clicking and going to Properties."

You can also use an online MSXML "sniffer" to find out what version
of MSXML you are running, but it will not give the detail that you
find out from checking the file yourself. The TopXML website has
such a sniffer.

If you need any clarification, feel free to ask.

Search strategy:

Google search on: MSXML version
://www.google.com/search?q=MSXML+version

Google search on: MSXML sniffer
://www.google.com/search?q=MSXML+sniffer

Looking Forward, denco-ga
