I'm currently in a performing group, and want to know how to better handle disaggrements among the group, as a leader. What's the best way to get the troupe's troops behind my ideas? Leadership strategies? |

As a leader you should let the group express them self and say what in there mind, you have to be like a moderator who give them equal time. A learder is not alwas right but he is alwas the leader, you have not to insest on what you want to do even thou no one share your ideas. Try to take the best ideas from the froup and combian them into one great idea and make the group understand why you liked what you liked. I am not a payed researcher, a researcher will give you a much better understanding i am only telling you what i know from my own experianses. Sorry for my spelling as i studyed english for a shot time. |

I agree with your comments, but of course i'm looking for a bit more indepth advice. How to deal with meetings, with members who aren't enthusiastic about change.... I guess maybe how to advocate CHANGE as a MEMBER of a group without neccessarily being the leader. How to massage the ego's of everyone as you carefully step on their toes... Any ideas? |
