Hi there, I checked the official site, which has all the results going back to 1980: http://www.illinoislottery.com/subsections/Numbers2.htm Neither combination (6-7-5-4 or 6-5-0-0) have ever won. This isn't too terribly surprising. There are 9,999 possible combinations (off the top of my head), and only 365 days in a year. Somewhat surprising. 365.25 * 22 years is over 8000 days. So if you pick the same number for 22 years, each day your chance is 1/9999 and you do it 8000 times, you should probably have won. And if you pick TWO numbers... even more so. |
