song is about a midshipman during the Crimean War. Although this
sounds like a serious song, in fact, it is more of a story and
drinking song. Help would be appreciated. The first verse starts:

"Twas 55 on a winter's night
Cheerily my lads, Yo Ho,

This answer was perfect. My Dad used to sing this to us when we were
very little. I think it was a song he learned in Glee Club.
