I am trying to locate this quote: "Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things. The problem is that we have a lot of managers doing the wrong things very well." It's attributed to Peter Drucker, yet I need to know where he said this. |

I don't see your quote exactly, but the notion that "executive effectiveness is doing the right things right" is explained neatly in chapter 1 of The Effective Executive and is the organizing theme of the book. |
