Q thermal neutrons are produced per cm3 per sec uniformly in an
infinite medium. (a) what is the thermal neutron flux? (b) a plane
indium foil that may be considered in extent in two dimentions and
0.0025 cm thick is placed in the medium. calculate the depression of
the neutron flux and the rate of activation of the foil per cm3 if the
medium is (a)H2O (b)graphite.
