(2000 words)

TASK 2

Then once i have analysed it. I want to produce a critical report
relating its form and content to some of the issues and debates around
notions of economics, the public sphere, media concentration,
ownership and control, globalisation, regulation and deregulation.
(3000 words)

For the critical report i will be concentrating on

1)Which company or organisation produced it. Who owns it? What are
the company's values and/or ideology. And how do this impact on it

2)How does "Harry Porte"r fit into the broader structure of the media
in terms of legislation, funding, polital and economic regulation nd
deregulation etc. Am trying to find out whether its produced as part
of a public service or is it a market led?

3)Relate the analysis to recent developments in technology. How have
these impacted on the company responsible for producing Harry Porter.

4)Analysis how Harry Porter is circulated and distributed. How is it
advertised and marketed? Who is the target audience? What effect

Dear Nyajao,

Who/what is Harry Porter? Is it possible that you mean "Harry Potter"
(a hero of a popular book series)?

In addition, do you want the researcher to write a research on this
issue for you, or just to point you to relevant and helpful sources,
that you could use, in order to write your own work?

Please note, that 5000 word Research, is equivalent to more than 20
pages of work. Right now, you're offering $110 for this work (only
$82.5 would end up at the Researcher's pockets), that is about $4 for
a page of researched work.

Yes i mean Harry Porter the popular book series. I would kindly
appreciate some guidance in starting off this essay and writing it.
Relevant sources in this area would also be very helpful.

Any researcher wanting to take this on will also need to know to _which_ excerpt
from the German Ideology (1846) you are referring.

I did provide where the excerpt came from that is K. Marx and Engels,
excerpt "From The German Ideology (1846)" In J. Munns and G.Rajan
(eds). A Cultural studies Reader: History, Theory, Practice (London

The excerpt from the German Ideology is where Karl Marx discusss
"idealism vs Materialism" why he sees materialism to be important. He
tells us we need to understand the ideas by which we live by. He
qoutes

" The Philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways
the point is to change."

He also says from this ideology that its the way we live our lives
that determines the way we think. " It is not the consciousness of
men that determines their being but on the contrary their social being
that determines their consciousness."

Caseyfla~

As all Researchers learn very quickly, there is little point in
answering a question if you don't really understand what the
customer's seeking. Therefore, if a Researcher has any doubt at all
about what a customer wants, you'll find that a lot of Clarification
questions are asked. It may seem like a pain, but in the end, it goes
a long way toward creating a happy customer :)

well, nya jajo

Researchers did guess, even though it is still unconfirmed,
   that you mean

Potter, the little magician, not any Porter of the Titanic.

It may still be useful to clarify which Marxism should
be used for analysis. There was quite a few of them:
before Lenin, before Stalin, after perestrojka in SU,...

the US colleges, I suspect, are using quite different
Marxism still, for their school assigments.
You may need to describe the one which your college professor
 thinks is "The Marxism".

BUT, in general,

I can tell you that the 'Real Marxism of the fifties'
would not bother with this little guy Potter that much.

According to the orthodox, historical Marxism :
"Potter is clearly a captive of idealistic idologies,
 but not dangerous.
He surely could be re-educated ( if captured :-) )

According to orthodox, you are also wasting your time and money
if you are trying such complex reports from whichever Marxist
point of view. While not being an Marxist, I may agree with this view.

Or are the points 2) 3) 4) to be analyzed from non-marxist point of
view? In that time I would sugget to braak the question in several.

Re Kriswrite's comment:

We needed to clarify your question, because the question was not
initially clear as to:

Whether you meant "Harry Potter", rather than "Harry Porter".

Whether the question had anything to do with the Titanic.

What excerpt from the German Ideology (1846) by Karl Marx and
Friedrich Engels you meant.

Had we not asked, we couldn't have known for sure, and then you might
indeed be unhappy.

Also, Politicalguru has asked for the pages or a source for this
excerpt, since we generally have more access to online sources than to
books. If you can provide information on the excerpt, we'll be better
able to assist you.

Honestly, the subject title of this Question is so misleading and
confusing that in order to attract additional Researchers and
facilitate their expedient research, I recommend that you simply
repost the same Question (copy & paste), but with an appropriate
subject title.

I think "The Titanic" is an apt metaphor for this question in general... Sheesh.
