HP Scanjet 5500c works great on any PC with a standard low-speed USB
port.  When you connect it, windows XP warns you that you've connected
a high-speed device to a low-speed port and everything works great. 
However on a PC with a high-speed USB port, you frequently get lock
ups while scanning.
