Hi! Thanks for the question. Our first link provides general carry-on restrictions. - Most airlines will only allow one carry-on bag in addition to one personal item. (1+1) - Most bags within the 22 x 14 x 9 (45 linear inches) size restriction will be considered legal carry-on size with major domestic U.S. airlines - Many airlines have sizing boxes at check-in desks within which your bag must fit. - No knives or cutting instruments are allowed in carry-on baggage. Educate yourself before you Fly! http://www.tripbags.com/bags101/airline.htm The accompanying Transportation Security Administration document provides a more detailed list of permissible and prohibited carry-on items. The document is a revised rule made on July 24, 2003. Some of the items mentioned as permissible or prohibited have conditions in them so better read the document carefully to get a better idea of the rules.
