Is it safe to have surgery to repair a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus while pregnant?

Surgery itself may not be harmful BUT the anaesthetics used could be.

I understand that a general anaesthetic is best avoided.

the optimum time to have surgery while pregnant is in the middle
trimester. Everything is relative, of course; there's minimal risk to
the fetus, whether it's general or regional anesthesia, but it's not
absolutely zero. So in general surgery is not done unless unavoidable.
Knee surgery would generally be considered best put off, unless
circumstances are such that waiting is felt to risk further harm to
the knee. The best source of info would be one's own OB and orthopedic
docs.
