Will a remote Satellite user be able to connect to Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003? A while back I was trying to connect an Outlook 2002 (XP) remote user (who uses a satellite) to an exchange 2002 server and found that it does not work. The latency kills it. Here was my question back then. None of the solutions worked. we ended up waiting and then getting a DSL line there and shut down the satellite (StarBand). http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=96344 Now we have upgraded the exchange server to 2003 and are connecting with Outlook 2003 clients using the new RPC over HTTP feature to avoid using VPN I no longer have a satellite to test on, but I need to know if this new exchange/outlook setup has been tested with satellite and if it works. Has anyone tested this, or are there any reports of this being successfully done? |
