Hi cmiyata,
In addition to tips and suggestions, I found several online sites
where practice questions (and answers) are available for free.
On the day of the test:
1. Arrive at the testing site at the assigned time. Check-in
procedures take time. If you arrive late, you may not be admitted to
the test, and you will forfeit your test fees.
2. Bring photobearing identification.

TOEIC Tips
http://www.vec.ca/English/3/toeic_tips.cfm
"The TOEIC test requires a lot of preparation. Generally speaking, the
amount of preparation you put into it will be reflected in your TOEIC
score. Whether you prepare extensively or not, however, it will be
good to keep these TOEIC tips in mind.
TOEIC Tip #1
In the Listening Comprehension section of the TOEIC test, there is a
new question every 5 to 8 seconds. Do not answer these questions
slowly, or you might become confused.
TOEIC Tip #2
Although grammar is important, the TOEIC test focuses on basic English
communication. A good way to prepare for the TOEIC test is to read
English newspapers, magazines and books. Its also helpful to speak
English with people, watch English-language television and listen to
English-language radio.
TOEIC Tip #3
In the TOEIC test, you will not lose points for answering incorrectly.
If you don't know the correct answer, or if you are running out of
time, just guess. You have nothing to lose!"

General Directions
"The following general directions are taken directly from the test
book. After the general directions are specific directions for each
part of the test, along with sample questions for each of the parts.
This is a test of your ability to use the English language. The total
time for the test is approximately two hours. It is divided into seven
parts. Each part of the test begins with a set of specific directions.
Be sure you understand what you are to do before you begin work on a
part.
You will find that some of the questions are harder than others, but
you should try to answer each question to the best of your ability.
Your score will be based on the number of questions you answer
correctly.
Do not mark your answers in this test book. You must put all of your
answers on the separate answer sheet that you have been given. When
putting your answer to a question on your answer sheet, be sure to
fill in the answer space corresponding to the letter of your choice.
Fill in the space so that the letter inside the oval cannot be seen.
Mark only one answer for each question."
There are two sections to the test:

Some tips on preparing to take the test
http://www.toeic-usa.com/Students_Home.htm
"The TOEIC is a test of your proficiency in English. The only way to
improve your English ability is to practice. Take English classes and
try to immerse yourself in an English-speaking environment. Speak
English outside of class, especially with native speakers. Read
newspapers and magazines in English and watch television or listen to
the radio. Avoid using your native language. Soon you will be
thinking (and even dreaming!) in English.
If you're not sure about an answer on the TOEIC test, you should
guess. There is no penalty for guessing the wrong answer. Eliminate
answers you know to be wrong and then guess between the answers you
think may be correct."
