Hello carcollectibles-ga:
It was a pleasure to answer your question. As a google researcher, it
is my
duty to provide you with an unbiased review of your website, therefore
please
ignore any negative feedback, if possible.
I will provide a rating of 1-5 on different aspects of your website
with 1 being poor and 5 being excellent.
1-Poor ; 2-Average ; 3-Fair ; 4-Good ; 5 Excellent
Here is a summary of my review:
Speed of the website
The speed of the website and the loading time of the individual pages
is fast.
Considering the fact that there are lots of graphics, I am
really pleased with the page load time.
My Rating: 4
Usability
The usability of a website is concerned with the navigability of the
site. Is
the website easy to access and if the user can find the information
they are
looking for?
I was able to navigate the website with out any problems.
Whatever
content is there, it is highly navigable and the information is
visible and
concise.
My Rating: 5
Appearance
Apperance relates to the image of the website. It is a combination of
graphics, text, background and other features.
The main page reflects a very professional website. Proceeding to
other pages, I think it is a better idea to put an image on the
'Logos' of the
individual category instead of leaving that space blank. Improvement
can
also be made on the selection of 'order forms'. Background color of
the
graphics is another issue (please refer to graphics).
My Rating: 3
Consistency
It related to the consistency in the appearance of the website. Are
the fonts,
colors, forms and images are similar throughout the website.
My Rating: 5
Credibility
It is important for a web designer to provide its customers with a
visual image of the company and gain their trust so that they know
that the business is authentic. You have done a great job by providing
your physical address,
telephone number and privacy policy.
My Rating: 5
Color
Color is an important aspect of the website. The background color of
the
website is appropriate for a website like this. I will like you to
consider other
options, too. The background color of the main page is fascinating but
if you
can bring a change in the background colors of other pages, it will
give a
boost to the website.
My Rating: 3
Value of the Color
This is the darkness and lightness of an object or a background. Again
the
background of the images is wonderful. The main page is great but the
background of the other pages doesn't really matches the 'order forms'
and
the images. A light background that is also consistent with the
background
color of the main page will be terrific.
My Rating
Main Page : 5
Other Pages: 2
Overall Rating: 3.5
Graphics
I very much liked the graphics of your website. While the graphics are
great,
there sometimes is a problem loading some of the graphics. Although,
it is
very rare. Also, I will advice you to remove the black background of
the
graphics or use another background for the page (discussed above).
If you can change the background of the pages and remove the
black background, it will really look nice.
My Rating
Quality of Graphics: 5
Loading Time: 4
Background for the Graphics: 2
Overall: 3.7
Shape, Motion & Size
This relates to the shape and size of contents on the web page. I
liked the
consistency throughout the web page as the shapes and sizes reflects a
continuous motion. They are either square or rectangular with equal
size.
My Rating: 5
OVERALL RATING OF THE WEBSITE: 4.12 / 5 based on nine factors.
Please be advised that this is my own opinion. Opinion of other people
may
differ widely.
If you are not clear on anything or you will like me to explain
anything further, please do not hesitate to clarify. Many Thanks.
Sincerely,
leader-ga. |

- I'm want to know as a vistor to this site....was it easy to
navigate?
Yes.
- How is the functionabilty?
Website appears to be functioning as expected, although I did not put
through an order.
- What if anything am i missing?
* One glaring element missing is the price on your product pages.
* How much is shipping
* Store policies: You should have a Help Desk web page that
pre-answers frequently asked questions. (i.e. return policy, shipping
policy, shipping rates, damaged items, etc.)
* I would try to get more focused keywords in your title. You're
competing against all the other merchants selling keychains, lighters,
etc. I imagine there are thousands of them. Try to focus your words
a little better and describe 'exactly' what you're offering. (i.e.
"automotive keychains" or "car keychains", etc.)
- Are the graphics good?
Yes. A little big, but 'not' annoying slow to load.
- What were you first thoughts of the site when you went there?
Overall, a nice site. Easy to navigate, loads fairly quickly.
- Did the site meet your first expectations?
Yes, but see comments above ('what am I missing')
- Can a internet novice understand how the site works?
In my opinion, yes.
Hope these comments help. Good luck. |

I don't mean to be a negative nelly, but I don't really agree that the usability is a 5. When I click on a category of item, I see what I guess are samples of a finished product, and not items I can just 'add to my cart'. My immediate reaction was that I could click on the images and add that particular item to my cart and then customize the wording. At the bottom is what I guess I'll call a 'configurator' which is the actual product purchasing part. This also is a bit confusing. For example, I went to the money clip configurator. My first thought was to look for an Audi logo, because I own an Audi. It took me a while to figure out that it doesn't exist. It shouldn't have taken me so long. I don't think that single drop downs is the way to go here. It seems like a haphazard collection of logos. Not even entirely alphabetic. Some are 'make' and some are 'model'. The drop down has camelCase wording, e.g. MustangBoss302, but there doesn't seem to be any reason for this. I would almost recommend it being more like a wizard. Maybe on the money clip home, say something like, click here to see a gallery of existing examples, with the ability to click on them to use that example, and then another link to build your own money clip. The first step would be to choose the logo from a series of links, maybe first choosing a category or make, and then a model if appropriate. The next step would be to choose a color, and in some of the best sites I've seen it's you click an image with basically a color patch of the color / engraving style. As for the engraving itself, you do say at the top (in most, not all, cases) what the limit on letters is, but it would really help if you included the letter limit in the box where you specify the engraving. I know the girl is pretty and what not, but I'm not sure the image with the contact number is necessary. I would have expected it to be in the black footer of the site (which by the way looks weird on my screen - the "rights reserved" wraps to the second line, but on the left. But, I like the home page quite a lot and it was easy to find what I wanted and exactly what you did from it. The graphics are all very well-done. |

One more comment, sorry. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a 'finished website' but if so, it did not prevent me from adding something to my cart without having chosen a color. On the cart summary it just said SelectStyle or similar. |
